The Jacob Burns Film Center festival of classic Italian cinema starts this Friday, June 4th. Some of the highlights include:
- Visconti's The Leopard and Ossessione (banned by Mussolini)
- Fellini's Nights of Cabiria (the second saddest movie ever made)
- Di Sica's Bicycle Thieves (the saddest movie ever made)
- Argento's The Bird With the Crystal Plumage (Westchester Live has never seen this one!)
- Leone's Once Upon a Time In the West
